One killed in cable short circuit in Mumbai

Mumbai: 

A short circuit between two high power cables killed one person and injured five others in the north-east suburb of Sion in Mumbai, police said.


Rasool Pathan, was allegedly working on the electric wire of the Tata Power Company while standing on the roof of one of the slums at Dharavi when he lost grip of one wire and it fell on another high tension electric wire resulting in a short circuit, they said.


Pathan sustained 90 percent burn injuries and was killed on the spot while five others standing near him were injured due to it.


The injured were taken to the Sion Hospital for treatment
