Olympic boxer and bronze medallist Vijender Kumar flaunts his sunglasses |
Eye guard
This one's the most obvious. Like you shouldn't step out in the daylight without slathering sunscreen, you shouldn't even be stepping out without your shades. Wear branded sunglasses that come with UV protection. Choose ones with 99-100 per cent protection from UVA and UVB rays.
Tip: Buy glares with lighter coloured lenses to cut the glare without changing the colour of what you see.
Hiding place
Though celebrities wear glares to look glamorous, one main reason behind wearing them is to hide physical flaws puffy or red eyes that give you a drunken look, dark circles, eye infections, etc. However all this is fine, as long as you don't wear them inside the office. And if you do, you better have a good enough reason (say conjunctivitis in which case you should have stayed at home.)
Tip: Wear glares that are big enough to hide your entire eye and don't be conscious about wearing them indoors even if your colleagues give you the looks.
Flaunt the brand
There's nothing to stop you from flaunting what you are wearing. But, unfortunately you can't be However, wearing labels on your clothes inside out will make you look like a fool. So your sunglasses are your best weapon to show your taste and style. But keep in mind that if you want to flaunt it, then it better be a brand everyone knows of.
Tip: Sport glares with a little bling around the edges, as that is where the brand name is written and is likely to be looked at.
Keep your hair in place
We tell you this is one of the coolest ways to keep your bangs out of your eyes and yet look cool. Wearing glares on top of your head definitely scores more than sporting hair bands, especially for guys. Coloured lenses and frames if matching with your outfit give you an extremely well coordinated and chic look.
Tip: Keep colours such as brown, pink and blue in your closet to match with what you wear.
