In an exclusive interview with mid-day.com, National-award winning actress Tabu asks a poignant and a pertinent question about the harsh reality in Bollywood

Where are the actresses who were my contemporaries today, asks Tabu

In a special interview with National award-winning film actress Tabu, she admitted that in spite after doing several films, people complain that she does not take up a lot of projects.

Explaining this, Tabu says that I have worked in 'Haider', 'Jai Ho', 'Talwar', 'Drishyam', 'Fitoor' and 'Golmaal Again' in the last few years, but still people say that I don't take up as many films as I should. That is not correct. This question has been asked to me for the last 25 years. Now I ask you, tell me where are the actresses who were my contemporaries, right now? Ironically, Ajay Devgn who was cast opposite Tabu in 'Vijaypath, plays the lead role in the film 'Golmaal Again'. Apart from them, Kunal Kemmu, Shreyas Talpade and Parineeti Chopra have also been cast as the leads in the fourth franchise. This film has been helmed by Rohit Shetty who has been the director of all the Golmaal' series. Aamir Khan's film 'Secret Superstar' starring Zaira Wasim in the lead role will set up a box-office clash with the Rohit Shetty directorial.

The film 'Golmaal Again' and 'Secret Superstar' will hit the screens this Diwali.
