With the shooting for 'Kick', starring Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez, apparently running behind schedule, the film's release might get pushed ahead; the film was supposed to release during Eid this year. A unit member says, "One 40-day schedule is still pending and the film's post production might get delayed.

The film's shoot started late due to Salman's visa troubles in the UK; in fact, we had to shoot with Randeep Hooda and other cast members while Sallu's problems were being sorted out. Later, when we wanted bulk dates of all three actors (Salman, Randeep and Jacqueline), it did not happen as they had allotted dates to other projects. So the shoot kept getting pushed ahead. Shooting for the film is currently on at Mumbai's Mehboob studios where scenes featuring Nawazuddin Siddiqui are being shot."

Meanwhile, latest buzz also suggests that Deepika Padukone, who was supposed to star in the film, has been approached to do an item number. Says a source, "She didn't sign the film, but now the makers want her to do an item number. Deepika's schedule is chock-a-block with other projects but as of now, she has verbally agreed to do the song."

Producer-director Sajid Nadiadwala denied the news. He said, "We are working at a good pace and we will release the film on Eid as scheduled." About Deepika doing an item number, he said, "We have not locked anyone for the item number."
