Chef Vikas Khanna's Michelin-starred New York-based restaurant Junoon bagged a top honour for six years in a row.

The official tweet on the Junoon's Twitter handle reads, "An honor to receive a @winespectator award for the 6th consecutive year and our 2nd year being...". There's a link to their official Instagram account, where Junoon's Wine Director sommelier Michael Dolinski, is pictured holding the award in the post.

The restaurant's team were awarded the prestigious Wine Spectator Award for the sixth consecutive year and according to the Instagram post below, '2nd year being awarded 2 glasses!'

Vikas Khanna, is an award winning Michelin starred Indian chef, restaurateur, and cookbook writer, filmmaker, humanitarian and the judge of the TV show MasterChef India Season 2, 3, 4 and Masterchef Junior. Based in New York City, he was named in the list of People magazine's Sexiest Men Alive in 2011 and was also referred to as "The Hottest Chef of America."

Vikas Khanna started Junoon on Dec 2nd, 2009, in Flatiron district of Manhattan, New York. The restaurant has been awarded a Michelin star by the Michelin Guide for 6 consecutive years since 2010.
