It's finally official! Delhi Daredevils captain and Mumbai lad Zaheer Khan on Monday took to social media to announce that he has finally put a ring on it. That is he announced his engagement to Bollywood actress Sagarika Ghatge in the middle of the IPL 2017 season.
"Never laugh at your wife's choices. You are one of them !!! Partners for Life #engaged Sagarika Ghatge," Zaheer posted on Twitter.

The Delhi Daredevils have had a mediocre IPL season so far having won just two of their six games, They are currently in sixth position on the points table.
The 38-year-old pacer has played 95 IPL matches so far is one wicket shy of taking his 100th wicket in the tournament.
Sagarika too posted a photo of the happy couple on Twitter, with the message, "Partners for life."

In the 2007 film Chak De India, Sagarika Ghatge played a headstrong hockey player, who dumps her cricketer boyfriend for undermining her passion for hockey. Exactly 10 years on, in an irony of sorts, she has now become engaged to the former Indian speedster.

The duo made their first public appearance together at cricketer Yuvraj Singh and actress Hazel Keech's Goa wedding last December.
