Accessories aren’t confined to women anymore. Ask the metrosexual man. The Bro Code is a new website dedicated to little sartorial needs of men. Started by Sohel Lalvani and his sister Sonali Lalvani of Toniq accessories, the webstore offers ties, cuff links, bow ties, and even pocket squares. “Being a consumer of men’s accessories, I realised that there isn’t much on offer, except by high-end luxury brands. It’s the reason why we launched The Bro Code,” says Sohel.

Sohel has worked with several international high street labels in the Middle East earlier and then started his own accessory company in India, a few years ago. Currently, the duo intend to sell only via their website instead of taking the multi-brand website route. Sohel tells us that this is because on some websites, it can feel like shopping in a mall on weekends — chaotic, which can be a huge turn-off for men. They plan to expand their collection soon by offering leather goods such as wallets, shoe shine kits, socks as well as hats.
