Filmmaker Tigmanshu Dhulia has been roped in to play a pivotal role in Aanand L Rai's upcoming film starring Shah Rukh Khan that went on floors on Tuesday

Filmmaker Tigmanshu Dhulia has been roped in to play a pivotal role in Aanand L Rai's upcoming film starring Shah Rukh Khan that went on floors on Tuesday.



A source close to the unit said, "It is a very interesting role. Also, the film is supposedly set in Uttar Pradesh. Tigmanshu was apt for the character that was needed by the director."


Tigmanshu Dhulia was last seen as an actor in Salman Khan's production 'Hero' where he played Athiya Shetty's father. He has also acted in the film 'Yaara' which he has directed. some of his other films as an actor include 'Gangs Of Wasseypur', 'Manjhi - The Mountain Man' and 'Shahid'.
