The star-studded closing and awards ceremony of the eighth Jagran Film Festival on Sunday night saw Bollywood personalities, both on-screen and off-screen, walk away with accolades for their contribution to Indian cinema.

Veteran cinematographer Praveen Bhatt was honoured for 'Special Contribution To Cinematic Art.' Acting powerhouse Nawazuddin Siddiqui was awarded the Special Achievers Prize. Irrfan Khan won the Best Actor (Male) for Hindi Medium. Swara Bhaskar picked up Best Actor (Female) for Anarkali Of Aarah.

Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury (Best Director) and his female-lead trio Taapsee Pannu, Kirti Kulhari and Andrea Tariang (Best Actor Female -- Special Jury Award) were honoured for Pink. Jolly LLB 2 was declared the Best Feature Film for mass entertainment.

The evening also saw performances by Hindi poet Ashok Chakradhar and storyteller Shikhar Kamat. The 8th edition of JFF saw
introduction of cash rewards for various Indian film categories.
